After I finish packing, taking my last finals, cleaning, graduating, moving, sewing, and driving, I plan on getting back to blogging.
As a request from a friend, I will attempt to answer outfit questions… For example, future posts include “How to Dress Up a Band Shirt/Wear It Like You’re Not a High School Punk Fug” and “Miss Haley Goes to Washington: Legally Blonde in Real Life.”
I will also take any other requests that are not vulgar nor above my ability to dress other people (while the ability to dress myself still remains questionable)….
If you like this idea, I’ll take your “aye” in the comments. If you don’t, keep it to yourself.

Someone PLEASE send me a telegram!! I’m trying to think of a reason to send someone else one….
I’m maybe loving this kitschy terrarium of Stonehenge. I probably actually only love Stonehenge, but it’s cool…
buy it here (you know you want to)
or the Easter Bunny, Cowboy Jack, God, mom, Brad, anyone….
I would love this cashmere wrap.

I would also accept it in pima cotton.

Maybe it’s because yesterday seemed like the first day I’ve seen the sun in AGES, but today I woke up wanting a super cute new swimsuit. Or two or three.
My favorites?
Last year, I fell in love with this suit from Carmen Marc Valvo
However, I did NOT fall in love with the price tag. So instead, I bought this suit in black AND lilac…
I’m still coveting the red suit, but I’m also liking these looks:
I love the purple paisley and know that the bottoms are super comfy.
I love the yellow and the retro vibe, but am not sure how it would translate once I put it on…
FINALLY, Land’s End came out with some cute suits that I would wear (it’s been awhile), and I LOVE this Ikat print… Wouldn’t it look great with a turquoise necklace?
I’m also loving their Penelope print, and I can’t decide whether I like the red and coral better (red is my color) or the Parisian looking (but ethnic too) black and white.
And due to the fact that you MUST wear a one-piece at BYU, the token one-piece.
I can’t decide which ones are my favorites…. They all have definite pros and cons. The yellow one DOES look least like a mom (in my opinion), but it might not look so hot in real life (i.e. not 110 pound, 5′9″).
Any suggestions?
For some reason, I’m finding myself inspired by DesignMom’s calendar for her last month in New York… perhaps it’s all the fun plans she has, or the organization, or the thought of making the most of her time there….
